URGENTLY REQUIRED – WELDING AND FABRICATION PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR

JOB SUMMARY

  • Lead generation, estimation and management of the project from “cradle to grave” throughout the build/installations life-cycle

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a “Welding & fabrication Project Manager” with knowledge or back ground related to that field
  • Able to maintain existing relationships with clients, build upon them and generate new clients.
  • Full understanding of standard welding processes and related operations
  • Able to determine appropriate methods for completion of varying welding projects
  • Ability to generate cost proposals based on information provided from blueprints, site visits, samples parts and interactions with customer representatives
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills a necessity
  • Previous hands-on welding experience an asset (but not required)

INDUSTRIAL MILLWRIGHT 

JOB SUMMARY

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures
  • Trouble-shoot, observe and perform diagnosis of mechanical equipment failures and corrective actions
  • Analyze machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems
  • Repair and replace defective or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
  • Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of the repairs
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts, perform inspections and repairs
  • Use machine tools (grinders, drill press, and saws) to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery
  • Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
  • Operate lift machines as required in the performance of job duties

  • Capable of performing programming and set up for all types of complex parts
